Software

  • The KISSware O.S. controls all aspects of the machine and process. The initial programming is accomplished by one of two methods, at a desktop computer or on the machine…..Click here to see a video demonstration  (allow a few minutes for the download, it is worth the wait). At your desktop import a scanned image or photograph (usually a jpg) or the PCB CAD file into the KISSware program. Choose the flux applicator (Spray or D/J) (this becomes your curser). Choose the start/stop positions for all devices to be fluxed. The flux path becomes highlighted in yellow and script is automatically created for you....Pick the appropriate solder nozzle and create the path of the nozzle over the sites to be soldered. This path is highlighted in red.  The speed, dwell, and other aspects are readily settable specific to each device, or use the default settings. Matrix patterns, mirror images, circular or angular interpolation tools are at your fingertips. An average board can be programmed in 10 - 15 minutes

  • Optionally, use the set up camera to look at the underside of the board and components. The real time image is viewed on the monitor. Use the joystick (jog and teach) function on the keyboard in conjunction with the KISSware process tools to set the flux and solder paths. This method is slightly faster to first article with the added benefit of conducting a real time "dry run" to test the program.

  • Either method is easy, intuitive accurate and fast. Contact us and request a KISSware demo disc. contact us
