Automated Soldering Machine - KISS 102
The KISS-102 is the Programmable Selective Soldering System. - The system is controlled via a laptop PC.
- This laptop controls a set of stepper motors.
- The software is capable of doing 3 axis interpolation.
Programs are: - written in a simple g-code format used in industry for years, and
- done by either teaching points to a file while jogging the wave.
- The positioning is verified by the included laser pointer.
The other method utilizes a DXF file of the board. A soldering layer is added to the board DXF where the path of the solder wave is just added like any other component on the board. The system includes a translator that generates a move profile for the solder layer. The KISS 102 is a fully automated, simple to use, low cost bench top selective soldering machine using the proven "traveling mini–solder wave." It is used to remove or install through hole components on SMT boards within close proximity of adjacent components. This system overcomes the limitations of operator dependent soldering with a truly flexible molten solder delivery system. To learn more about thre KISS-02, Click Here.
